When I open it I get a black screen on my iPod 5th generation. Would not recommend

I dont know whats causing this but when I try to boot it up it shows the map and then it goes to a black screen and just sits there plz respond so I can use it to 100% my game

Just like Google maps. Find everything you want but I cant sign in to it to track my progress. Even after going pro
